Job Description
A successful CR Director is self-motivated, systems-oriented, and enjoys a fast-paced learning environment. They create real, meaningful relationships quickly with prospective residents and their adult children/influencers by drilling down during the discovery process to truly understand the driving motivations, emotions, and needs of the customer. They have an ability to lead their sales team to produce results and lead the sales-focused culture of the community. They increase occupancy by utilizing Senior Star’s proprietary sales process and differentiate the community through creative marketing that generates increased qualified traffic/leads. Well-qualified candidates will have experience in sales and have a proven track record with metrics that demonstrate results achieved.
Experience within the senior living and senior services industries and a strong desire to improve the lives of seniors is preferred. Knowledge of the local geographic area required. Current professional relationships in the market area are a plus.
Hours: Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of our residents and the community. 40 + hours/week; rotating weekends and various work hours. After-hours work in returning emails and/or phone calls should a customer need immediate assistance.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills
- Retirement industry knowledge and experience helpful, but not required
- Marketing and/or Public Relations contact in area community helpful, but not required
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong skills with seniors and the general public
- Strong marketing and communication skills
- Strong computer skills to support use of CRM database management
- Perseverance and tenacity to follow through on leads
- Honest and dependable
- Self-starter and completer, with a proven track record
- Treats all information regarding the community, business or residents as confidential
