Job Description
We are looking for an organized inside salesperson with exceptional communication and customer interaction skills. This person will handle inside sales, administration and shipping & receiving at our small Richmond office. They will answer and make sales calls, ship & receive product and prepare quotations, orders & invoices.
To succeed in this position, you should be committed to providing attentive support for internal and external parties and ensuring consistent, efficient operations. You should be courteous, motivated, proactive, and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Making sales calls
- Creating quotes, orders and invoices per our policies
- Processing customer payments
- Managing inventory and warehouse operations
- Shipping and receiving products as required. Includes creating waybills, packing slips & customs documentation
- Handling basic office duties, such as answering and routing phones, responding to emails, maintaining client records, data entry and reporting.
- Supporting employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties.
- Ensuring that the office is well-maintained, organized, and secure.
Requirements:
- Experience with inside sales
- Superb customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with office technology and equipment, printers, copiers, scanners, and computers.
- Proficient in MS Office, E Mail and G Suite
- Creativity and strong problem solving skills.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required
- Previous NDT experience is preferred but not required
