Key Account Manager: Loblaws, Walmart

Johnvince Foods is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic growth with major national accounts, including Loblaws and Walmart. This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional to forge partnerships with Canada’s top retailers, driving impactful outcomes and influencing the future of our iconic brands.

Reporting directly to senior sales leadership, the Key Account Manager will define and execute the strategic vision for these accounts, leveraging data insights, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to exceed ambitious business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans designed to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share within key national accounts.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers within key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Lead high-level negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that align with Johnvince Foods’ growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to deliver seamless execution of account plans.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies, pricing models, and trade programs that maximize value for both the company and its customers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, providing detailed reporting and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Maintain full accountability for account budgets, including forecasting, planning, and achieving financial objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–5 years of progressive experience in sales and account management, ideally within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver sales growth and profitability in a fast-paced, competitive market.
  • A degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive results.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management and revenue forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • A collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic organization.
