Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales/Estimating Manager to join our team and help drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Management, Sales, Estimating and strong leadership skills with a passion for developing a high-performing teams.
Key or Essential Functions
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
· Close sales with qualified leads to generate new business and ensure the client’s needs are met
· Encourage potential clients to buy premium products and close the best possible deal
· Build customer relationships with existing clients by site visits, reaching out via phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication to increase the likelihood of them using our services again.
· Use CRM software to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing customers
· Track sales cycle on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are met
· Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, proving technical information, and developing accounts.
· Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
· Closes new accounts by answering the telephone, and email inquiries and verifying and entering information.
· Develop accounts by checking customers’ buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
· Maintaining and improving quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
· Manage and maintain quote follow-ups
· Recommend sales calls to outside Sales representatives
· Maintain, manage and monitor Government, City, State, and Local job boards to create quote opportunities.
· Track margin and assist with setting margin and sales price for estimates
· Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Estimators, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team sales goals. Distribute workload (RFQ’s) accurately and efficiently to ensure customers have quotes back on time.
· Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
· Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth; prepare regular reports for senior management.
· Coaching and Development: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development.
· Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and marketing initiatives.
· Recruitment: Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new sales staff, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to succeed.
· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or 2-year degree with 5 years’ experience in managing sales or estimating.
· Proven experience in inside sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
· Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
· 5+ year of sales experience converting qualified opportunities in a sales representative position
· Working knowledge of CRM software and the sales process
· Excellent communication skills, listening, skills, presentation skills, and customer service skills
Skills/Abilities:
· Demonstrated performance in file and time management
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and legal documents
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, etc.
· Experience with AutoCad desired, but not required
· Experience with MRP/ ERP and CRM software
· Proven customer service skills
· Experience in product and job costing
Physical Abilities:
· Work is performed primarily in an office setting.
· Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
· Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.
· Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
· Utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
