Position Summary:
As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving group and corporate sales, cultivating relationships with clients, and positioning The Centennial Hotel as a premier choice for events and accommodations. You will focus on identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and target corporate, social, and group business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship building.
- Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales with potential clients.
- Collaborate with hotel operations and event planning teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Maintain accurate sales records, including pipeline activity and client account management, using the property’s CRM system.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel sales, event sales, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the Concord, New Hampshire market is a plus.
