Job Description:
Rotech Pumps & Systems Inc, a leading Pump Manufacturing Company in Mississauga, is seeking a versatile individual to fulfill the role of Inside Sales / Customer Service. This dynamic position involves a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient order execution, and effective procurement of shop and office supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements and provide accurate quotes for pumps, parts, and services.
- Process customer orders from initiation to fulfillment, including generating purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and monitoring order status.
- Liaise with vendors to obtain pricing, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including obtaining freight quotes, preparing orders for shipment, and tracking deliveries.
- Manage inventory levels of Pumps/ parts, materials, and office supplies, conducting regular counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Source and procure shop and office supplies from various vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to obtain the best value for the company.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inventory data using appropriate software systems.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously update knowledge on company products, services, and vendor offerings to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office suite and inventory management software.
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, order execution, procurement, or inventory control preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule (Monday to Friday).
- Salary range: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year.
