Job Description:
As a Relationship Manager / Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the company. The Relationship Manager role is responsible for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining speed and accuracy to secure orders. The sales support group provides a positive and fast-paced dynamic that aligns to the overall culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales by soliciting and securing orders, interpreting technical requirements, providing essential technical information, and cultivating client accounts.
- Sales Development: Identify and research prospective accounts, build relationships, provide technical insights, and send competitive quotations.
- Account Maintenance: Respond to inquiries via phone and email, verify details, and process new account information efficiently.
- Account Management: Enhance customer relationships by reviewing buying history, recommending complementary products, and explaining technical features.
- Order Processing: Manage order processing by coordinating with fulfillment teams, communicating delivery timelines, and addressing stock availability issues.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new products and industry trends through study and participation in training opportunities.
- Goal Achievement: Take ownership of departmental goals by proactively tackling new challenges and requests.
- Value Addition: Seek opportunities to enhance job performance and contribute to overall team success.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude, including good attendance record and ability to work in a high-performance culture
Preferred Skills:
- Manufacturing environment experience is appreciated
- Proven experience in sales, relationship management, or a similar role.
