Job Overview:

Greenbelt Environmental Services is seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction with our environmental services, and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients. The Junior Account Manager will work closely with the Senior Account Manager to support day-to-day operations, client inquiries, and account growth efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in managing client accounts, responding to inquiries, and addressing client needs in a timely, professional manner.
  • Account Support: Support the Senior Account Manager in coordinating environmental projects, including waste management, recycling programs, and compliance services.
  • Project Coordination: Track project timelines and milestones, working with the operations team to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
  • Client Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports for clients on service delivery, project progress, and key performance indicators.
  • Dispatching Support: Support with managing and tracking bin rentals, exchanges and returns.
  • Business Development Support: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to current clients and generate leads for potential new clients.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, contract documents, and service agreements.
  • Compliance Awareness: Stay updated on environmental regulations and industry best practices, providing information to clients when necessary.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent communication, problem-solving, and understanding of client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, customer service, or a related role (preferably within environmental services or a similar industry).
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,997.36-$55,332.12 per year

Additional pay:
