Position Summary:In this consultative sales and marketing role, the team member will introduce, guide, and direct all Sales and Marketing efforts within the Community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interface with all prospective residents and/or family members and turn those inquiries into residents of the Community; follow procedures in creating and managing inquiries in the database; keep current records of all prospects as required by the Community; meet or exceed all predetermined monthly sales goals; and manage and provide sales training and leadership to the marketing department staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Identifies and anticipates prospective resident and family needs and objectives, recommends solutions, and communicates with individuals involved in making sales decisions. Pre-qualifies prospective residents.
- Updates Management staff in daily Stand-Up meeting to go over top prospects and Move-Ins/Move outs.
- Attends weekly One- on- One meeting with the Executive Director to keep up to date on any Sales and Marketing changes.
- Responds to all customer requests for information.
- Records and manages all Inquiry and Professional contact information in the CRM database.
- Assist with developing executing external business community relations marketing plan.
- Researches maintains ongoing knowledge and reporting of local market competitors.
- Interacts with all inquiries, whether provided through advertising, public relations, referral, or personal contact, and is responsible to turn those Inquiries into residents of the Community through the use of professional selling skills.
- Knows procedures for creating tracking inquiries; keeping accurate records on all inquiries and potential residents in the sales database.
- Meets or exceeds predetermined monthly and annual sales goals.
- Meets or exceeds weekly Activity Targets.
- Provides leadership and motivation to the Marketing staff through training and positive reinforcement.
- Provides technical input to advertisers and all other forms of media relations within the budget.
- Orders and maintains inventory of all Marketing collateral materials within the assigned budget.
- Organizes and plans all internal and external Marketing events to promote the Community.
- Collaborates with all other Departments within the Community to promote and maintain census development.
- Promote a positive and efficient work atmosphere by establishing an organization that has a formal system of accountability and clear chain of command.
- Assists with the development of the departmental budget.
- Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Directly supervises team members in the Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- Two to three years’ proven successful experience in consultative sales and/or Community Relations Marketing within a senior living community with supervisory experience required.
- Language Ability:
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals.
o Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of residents, guests and/or team members of organization.

o Ability to use the Internet and other software applications.

Environmental Adaptability:
- Works primarily indoors in a climate controlled setting.
- Possible exposure to unpleasant odors.
- Possible exposure to chemicals as identified in the MSDS Manual.
- Continuous exposure to residents who are ill, confused, irritable and irrational.
