House of Jewellery is a wholesale jewellery trading company based in Toronto, Canada. Established in 1986, House of Jewellery is now one of Canada's leading silver, gold, and diamond jewellery wholesalers.

We specialize in selling high quality Sterling Silver and 14K Gold from Europe and Asia. As we expand our sales operations, we are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth.

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading our sales strategy to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism. You will be responsible for developing our sales funnel through the creation and optimization of sales strategies and processes as well as the selection and implementation of an appropriate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform for the company. Reporting to the CEO, you will have full ownership of the sales function of House of Jewellery and are excited to lay the groundwork in developing sales strategy and operational processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and maximize sales opportunities in the B2B jewelry industry.
  • Identify, select and implement an appropriate CRM software based on company requirements.
  • Build, evaluate and optimize internal sales processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure sales activities align with business operations and optimize the customer experience.
  • Proactively reach out to prospective customers through outbound calls, emails and other communication channels to generate leads and drive sales opportunities. This may include cold-calls as well as contacting customers who have previously registered with House of Jewellery.
  • Engage with wholesale customers in a consultative manner to understand their unique business and clientele in order to provide personalized recommendations for product selection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers by delivering exceptional service, addressing inquiries and concerns, and maintaining regular communication to drive repeat business.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports to track progress towards goals, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company, demonstrating consistent performance and exceeding customers expectations.
  • Utilize implemented software to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, track sales activities and follow up on leads and opportunities.
  • Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, competitor offerings and market dynamics related to jewelry industry to identify opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, marketing, operations and customer service to address customer requests, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a primarily remote, B2B inside sales role
  • Experience within the jewelry industry is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM selection and implementation and development of sales strategies, initiatives and internal processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
  • Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues and company leadership.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strategic thinking with a result-oriented mindset, analytical abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and remain self-motivated.
  • High proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google suite applications as well as ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Passion and knowledge of jewelry products and industry is an asset.

Transportation: TTC Accessible via Queen Subway Station

Other Job details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Full Time- 37.5-40 hours a week
  • Work Hours: Mon-Thurs 10am-6:30pm, Fri 10am-5:30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
