This client is looking for an ambitious and energetic Inside Sales Engineer to help expand our clientele. The ideal candidate will combine sales and engineering skills to support the sales team in the technical aspects of the sales process. They will work with our customers and engineers to understand their needs and determine system requirements, and then explain and demonstrate how (company's) products or services work. Sales engineers will also prepare technical presentations, model financial business cases, and match customer requirements to proposed solutions. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

• Engineering background/experience required - bachelor's degree (engineering discipline) preferred
• Familiar with using AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic business plans to expand (company) market share in the composites industry
• Manage large amounts of incoming calls
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, using tactics like cold calling, attending trade shows, and building mailing lists to find new sales opportunities
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
