Work Status: Contract (Hybrid)

About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager or Director and collaborating with the Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for day-to-day sales business. You will be responsible for preparing, booking, and confirming bookings as well as managing all related administrative tasks.
You will contribute by:
- Act as the primary contact for day-to-day administrative and transactional tasks with the agency buying community, covering the entire sales cycle of contracts.
- Develop, negotiate, and book on-air media campaigns based on agency requirements, with guidance from the Sales Manager/Director and input from the Account Manager.
- Replace NA’s for conventional and specialty bookings.
- Investigate and process shift and cancellation requests.
- Maintain airtime components for Core Business and Client Marketing media campaigns, under the guidance of the Sales Manager and collaboration with the Account Manager and Project Manager.
- Communicate and manage program changes effectively.
- Ensure campaign delivery through audience tracking, bonus and campaign maintenance
- Conduct seasonal re-negotiations for Conventional and Specialty stations
- Deliver post-buy reports in a timely manner and provide insights into audience delivery.
- Resolve discrepancies and process credits in collaboration with buyers and Traffic.
- Accompany the Account Manager on agency visits or entertainment opportunities to strengthen relationships, when workload allows
- Monitor inventory for oversells, spoilage opportunities, and key property sell-outs.
- Ensure accuracy and accountability to support financial success and future business.
- Build relationships with buyers to better understand and focus on their business needs.
- Identify upselling opportunities for agency buyers, including last minute inventory, program sponsorships, and tent-pole events.
- Keep accurate files to track changes or revisions to contracts.
- Post-Secondary Education or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Account Coordinator/Media Assistant or similar
- Advertising agency experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient with computer software and programs
- Takes initiative while being a collaborative team player
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and negotiation skills
