The Role: As a Field Sales Representative, you will be integral in developing a territory with a huge growth potential, partnering with school districts to help all kids succeed by improving their RTI / MTSS practice. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close; showing off your presentation skills both via webinar and in-person meetings with school and district leaders; managing and coordinating RFPs in your territory; flexing your strong organization and reporting abilities; utilizing company tools (CRM) and protocols for pipeline development; communicating and working with the team on overall sales and marketing strategies; handling transitions to the customer support team to ensure customer success; traveling up to 30% of the time (estimated and based on the state of the world), including travel to districts, relevant events, and conferences; and always meeting those quarterly and yearly sales goals. Why we’ll love you: We are looking for someone who is: * Experienced in K-12 school district sales with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience successfully selling to school districts * Able to cultivate personal relationships with potential clients to become a trusted ‘advisor’ and friend * Excited by our mission and ready to seize on the momentum we have built as a leader in RTI/MTSS * Comfortable with the dynamic, self-motivated, collaborative, fast-paced culture of a startup, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team Ideally, in the past you have: * Sold school district-level software working closely with educators & administrators (preferably, sold assessment/intervention/RTI/MTSS tools in the educational technology market) * Showcased strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills; * Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals; * Demonstrated experience with territory and call cycle management, as well as strong customer service and listening skills; * Achieved proficiency with business process technology including CRM software, G-Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive Calendar), and Microsoft Office * Operated effectively within a distributed team, utilizing tools such as Slack and Zoom WHAT WE OFFER * The opportunity to shape the company’s voice * Competitive salary and benefits; * A flexible schedule * A freedom PTO policy * Full remote work * An awesome, cross-disciplinary, mission-driven team solving meaningful problems that improves the lives of educators and students. These services may be sold over the phone via web-based presentations or in person via an onsite meeting. You will be responsible for managing your pipeline to a forecasted number while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas * Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal * Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships * Present products to prospective clients in person or via a web-based presentation * Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs * Follow Branch’s defined sales process from start to finish * Maintain accurate records of your sales process within dedicated CRM Qualifications: * Proven tech experience (5 years) as an Account Executive or similar; preferably in an emerging organization and/or within FinTech. * Documented success in hitting revenue targets * Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles * Preferred experience in the FinTech space * Knowledge of CRM software (eg.
